in FF devtools, i'm debugging my network requests. but it is NOT POSSIBLE to copy a specific number of error messages (like "the first three lines"). the selection deselects instantly, spamming cmd-c does NOT copy the selected text, right click only offers "copy (one) value" or "copy all" which is ALL, including miles of stacktraces which i don't want to copy. it behaves like it's constantly being updated, but it's a one-off request and displaying the results. there is no need to unselect

this is infuriating. why is it like this?? PLEASE change it (if there is somebody here who can?)

Hi, I'm running FF 149.0 (64-bit) on Windows 11. I've used profiles for a while now and on several occassions I've "lost profiles". Currently I have three profiles which I set up and edited the icon and colour associated with each. When I launch FF I see the Profile Manager and can select any of the three and I can create a new profile which shows here. However, once in any one of the FF profiles I don't see the others - by which I mean that when I go via the hamburger lines top right and click on the current profile, the 'other profiles' section is blank. I also cannot edit the profile from using the edit pencil top right (after clicking the hamburger lines and clicking on the current profile), it takes me to about:editprofile but the page is completely blank. Confusingly, if I go to about:profiles I see two profiles, neither of which shows up in the Profile Manager! I'm going round in circles trying to understand where to edit my exisitng profiles and make sense of the five profiles that don't all show up in the same place!

Lately when following links from google searches to some sites I get a "can't find" or "access not allowed". These sites tend to be hardware stores - specifically Home Depot or Lowes and some times Walmart. It is NOT my OS!! Because I copy the URL and paste it into Chrome and it works just fine.

Obviously switching to Chrome would solve this issue - but I've used Firefox for years and prefer to stick with it.

What's changing out there that is causing these incompatibilities?

Printing emails from my computer, while in Mozilla website is impossible. Get a lot of very unnecessary stuff. I have to go to another browser, or print from my android phone. I don't understand why this is a problem.

For some unknown reason, it seems since March 28th or so, I haven't been able to paste clipboard images anymore into the browser, for example when on a site that allows pasting images in a chat. This is inconvenient and now requires me to either dig up the actual screenshot images (a nearly hidden folder in windows) or paste it in a separate app, save it, and then upload it as an image. Please fix this for user productivity reasons.

How can i change a icon on my desk top it was change to a firefox icon. Pogo is the site I use to play other games now it has a firefox icon the site is pogo. Could you please provide me with infomation so I can tried to change it back to a pogo icon.

What is the latest version of the browser because when I open a new tab from a previous tab's content onto the new one it just doesnt load for some reason

Diese Seite wird von meinem Viren-Scanner Norton 360 aber als gefährlich eingestuft !! Wo und wie finde ich dieses Programm "browser.services" und wie kann ich es abstellen?!

when i open shorts on youtube for example, the screen tilts after the 3rd video. i have to close the window then restart it, so it works. however, it continues to do the same later.

also, i am not being able to scroll down through facebook nor linked in. but on other search engines such as edge or chrome, everything works seamlessly

All of a sudden I cannot save bookmarks. Neither the instruction "To bookmark a page, just click on the star in the address bar." or using the "Bookmark Current tab..." in the Bookmarks menu do anything. Trying either method just sits there and does nothing.

I'm running into frequent tab crashes, very commonly on pages that have a lot of elements, or things to render on the page.

Specifically, I am being challenged by gmail, where switching to my inbox will 100% crash my tab.

Here are a few crash reports to look at from this gmail example. It is not gmail alone that causes this, other websites such as Zillow, youtube, etc. Pages that contain a lot of information and pictures typically cause this.

I also want to mention that I have the exact same profile loaded onto another machine, and I experience no issues. I do not believe this is an extension issue, but I am open to disabling all of them and generating more crash reports if anyone would like for me to try that.

What stuns me the most in these crash reports is the reported amount of "available virtual memory" exceeding far beyond what I have available on my machine. Can anyone help pinpoint what about my system would keep making Firefox think I have this much available virtual memory?

Hi. Recently, a old issue has comeback on my firefox. When I load youtube video, or a twitch livestream, at 60FPS, and I scroll down the page, the scroll "lags" until the player is off screen. By lags i mean it slows down the scroll and is no longer smooth. This is an issue I've had before and had successfully dealt with by accessing about:config and turning media vp9 off, but it has returned fairly recently, since I do not remember this issue happening before the last week, maybe two. Another issue, also on youtube, is that when I scroll down through shorts, sometimes after a couple of videos, the browser will visually freeze entirely, but will still allow me to click things on the page and also play sounds. After about 20 or so seconds, it will unfreeze and work normally.

I understand that this issue, atleast the 60fps scroll lag, has been an issue for a while and I have tried multiple fixes for it, changing various boolean settings, refreshing firefox, updating my Nvidia drivers to the newest via nvidia app which i should add has never been an issue for the past few months and has worked flawlessly and my nighmarish evening of troubleshooting ended with me completely fully uninstalling firefox and redownloading fresh, but the issue presists.

It should be noted that on other browsers, I have no such issue. Im not sure if mentioning this is some sort of taboo or persona non grata, but i also downloaded and tested Waterfox, and it also does not have this issue. The only band aid fix I found for the moment is that turning off Hardware Acceleration fixes the scroll issue, but it causes awful screen tearing, which is just as bad and distracting.

So to my understanding, 3 potential things are happening. This issue is just in my head Something on my pc is dying and I have a mechanical or software problem Or finally, there is some issue with a recent update, either with firefox or maybe some driver somewhere causing an issue. It just upsets me greatly due to this being a relatively new issue. As stated I have dealt with the scroll lag before and did find a permanent fix, and firefox has since worked literally flawlessly for months/years. But now, somewhere within the last week, maybe 2, something has gone wrong. I hope this gets fixed in an update, or if others have this problem there is a fix. Thank you.

At one time firefox had If I remember rite it was an extension or something "its ben many years ago" to click on "Show related link" button . Whatever site you were on if u clicked it would show you other sites there were of the same site you were on. I'm just wondering if there still is an ext. For this.

From some long time the is no sound when i open music or movie in browser dont know whats happend - restart or new version of browser did not help at all - other browsers everything works fine
