The way you use VPN is you can either have it turned off, or turned on with exceptions you can put in a list. I'd like to be able to do the opposite, have it mostly turned off, except for some websites that require one to view. This is a QoL feature I would like in a future update.

I am no longer able to pay accounts using Firefox, such as my supermarket and Govt motor vehicle registration, so I have to do that bit through another browser. It used to be okay, until recently. Supermarket is through direct debit, and car reg is by credit card. I can do the order without any problems, until the actual payment is tried, at which time I have to go to another browser and copy the URL at that stage, and pay it. What may be causing that? Can i have more than 1 sig as i use maybe 10 different sigs for different reasons?

I see a use file do i get to choose a differt file when inserting sig or am i stuck with one and have to manualy change file or copy from somewhere else.

Once i get Thinder runnin i wil be happy to support on a monthly basis but i need to se if ti will suffice.

When I try to login with my Firefox account to configure Sync, I get a message that says that I am logged on to a different profile and asks if I want to switch. If I switch, I get the same result with the other profile. There is only one profile folder in the Profiles directory, there are no other files or folders. What should I do?

Several days ago a trio of "warnings" all labeled Mozilla Firefox popped up on my monitor. They included "Critical Error! Remove viruses now", "Warning! Virus Detected Clean Your Device" (with the choice of Renew Now {? renew what?} or Update Windows), "Warning! Your system is damaged by virus attack via d9BvqdcBn2sc73dc4btg.korvapod.co.in Remove the virus now", "Trojan Detected! (choose Remove virus now or Quick Scan), and variations on all of the above. I ran a malware scan from another provider and their advice was that this was an attempted hack so under no circumstances should I click on anything. They definitely said it wasn't from Mozilla Firefox. BUT they also couldn't find any traces anywhere in my computer. So for the past 5 days, I've been functioning with a partial screen, maybe 3/5 of full screen, because those darned "warnings" cannot be physically moved off the screen. How can I get rid of this mess? Thanks.

plus several others, e.g. "McAfee Critical Virus Alert" & "Viruses found (#)" , etc.

I always get: "newmsg Trojan:WIN/SuspiciousAttachmentScript.a" and "C:\Users\newb\AppData\Local\Temp Trojan:WIN/SuspiciousAttachmentScript.a" from Mcafee when I open Thunderbird. I'm only getting this in Thunderbird and suspect it's a false positive of some kind. It's still worrying and I'd like to eliminate this. This has been going on for a couple of months. I've run several cleaners and anti-virus programs on the system, but it still returns.

I reinstalled Thunderbird and now it tries to access my gmail account even though I didn't add it. I only use gmail when I log into it from a web site. I don't want thunderbird to have access.

Please let me know if it is safe to remove the older version of Thunderbird in the Installed Apps list. I also question whether the size of the app in the list is accurate; 250 GB seems quite enormous in a 500 GB hard drive. Thanks, Hans

I was testing a new website for a developer. I wanted to see if DNS worked correctly on various browsers. I downloaded Firefox and the test was OK. However, something happened with Yahoo and Facebook, apparently those sites think I am on another device. Where I have to log in, something with second level authentication was off, after several attempts I am now locked out. I suspect a Firefox setting is the problem. Suggestions on how to reset firefox?

When I move down the screen the tab bar (where it shows what tabs are open at the top of the screen) disappears and it reappears when I move back up to where it should be. I must have switched it on accidentally and can't turn it off. One thing I read said to go to More tools > Customise toolbar > Return to default (this might have been for a different problem but I tried it anyway). When I did that it seemed to work temporarily but then the tab bar disappeared again.

I was cleaning up my wife's email when I noticed there are a lot of messages unread and in the trash folder that ought not to be. I am wondering how to fix that for her. Example: some amazon.com emails about orders, or emails from favorite merchants or websites.
