My password is not being accepted, so I'm not getting my mail. For quite awhile my password would sometimes not be accepted for sending email, but now it's for everything. How can I fix this?

After last upgrade, I restored an earlier profile to RESTORE my bookmarks and passwords.

I set my old profile as DEFAULT.

YET NOW, I have the highly annoying problem that when I open a link from my email, it opens in the profile-release new version.... I then again do not have access to passwords and bookmarks.

Mozilla Firefox should address these issues, rather than have MILLIONS of people individually trying to fix the problems that the latest release caused.

I'm afraid to close my browser windows or even restart PC like I often do; I'm afraid I'll have to waste another 6 hours (like yesterday) trying to restore the profile, bookmarks and passwords.

This problem just began today on my Win 11 laptop. Firefox is current - 139.0.4. Win 11 is current. No new software has been installed. Firefox hangs up and will not move. Task manager shows FF is consuming more than 90% of my 16GB memory. I must end the FF task to get up and running again.

Just installed the latest 139 version on two computers, the system tray icon for unread messages appears in Windows 10, but not in Windows 11, and it isn't just 'hidden' as I have many icons hidden and just a few visible and have already checked that. Is the icon no longer part of the program?

15.18.0 how to export to mobile from settings in the desktop thunderbird so i can use my android phone--if it will help, on my desktop there is no Export to mobile in settings!!!!!!!

Is there a way to locate the empty "Inbox" In the TB folders and delete it from there?

I can't see them in any sub, and "Inbox.sbd" is empty 🤷

( TB folders are located on a local Disk, managed by Dropbox. Also doing Cloud BKP)

how can I copy my encrypted gmail passwords so that I can use it to sign into my Thunderbird gmail accounts to send and receive email using the Thunderbird app? Thunderbird has now decided that the passwords I have used for years to sign into my two gmail accounts are not valid. Think Tbird wants the encrypted version of each password, but don't know how to figure out what that is. Not listed in the encrypted version in my Tbird saved passwords.My other accounts continue to work well with Thunderbird. I havve many folders that I do NOT want to lose i I have to delete and then reestablish those two accounts, but the copy/move to another folder on my laptop will not work. Nothing happens when I try to follow the instructions. Please help!!

I'm in the process of cleaning up Thunderbird e-mail before moving to a new computer. I started with 11,593 e-mails in my Inbox and 7,799 e-mails in my Sent folder. I'm now down to 7,634 in my Inbox and 4,965 in my Sent folder. I've allocated 2 weeks for this process and found that it's taking me about 3 hours per day to meet my daily goals. I'm finding that I'm spending at LEAST half the time responding to "Empty-Trash/Compact-folders" requests. There are times I can delete 50 e-mails at a time without getting a request. Other times I will try to delete ten e-mails and get the request. With the old version of Thunderbird I could literally delete hundreds of e-mails at a time. Can you help? Russ Bukwa Yardley, PA ps.
