I just checked my Add-ons Manager to discover that NIS 2014 and Firefox v27.0 are not compatible so Norton has been disable.

I'm not sure who's responsible for making it compatible but the issue needs to be addressed quickly. I use Firefox as my default browser and everything I do requires access to Norton for my passwords. NIS 2014 has been out for quite some time so this should have been addressed by now.

Can someone help me with this?

Thank You Michael

hello michael, in principle it's always the job of an addon's developer to keep it compatible with new versions of the browser.

norton is one vendor which generally provides a compatibility update to its toolbars and extensions as soon as a new firefox version is released. please run the norton liveupdate repeatedly & until all components are up-to-date. in addition make sure that the toolbar is enabled under firefox > addons > extension afterwards.

Thanks Philipp.

I just found out that I had to run live update non-stop (7 times in all) to fix the problem.

Thank you for the information, it's much appreciated.
