I did change my home page. Now what ever and how ever many tabs I have open, every time I hit the home button all of the tabs replicate it can be endless. This only happened after I changed the home page

How did you change the homepage:

  • Install add-on
  • Change it from the options menu
  • Adjust about:config strings

Please ensure that you do not have multiple URLs in the homepage field of the Options window.

If you do not, please try starting Firefox in Safe Mode to ensure that this issue is not caused by an extension. [Details]

To expand on Wesley's reply, if you clicked the "Use Current Pages" button, then Firefox grabbed the addresses of ALL the open tabs in that window as your home pages (plural).

Unfortunately, you cannot (easily) see from the Options dialog how many different home pages you have because they are all on one long line separated by | characters. It might be simplest to clear them all out and save your home page setting again rather than risk eyestrain editing that line.

Note that you can set one tab as the home page by dragging the tab or the "Site Identity Button" (globe/padlock) in the location bar upon the Home button at the right end of the Navigation Toolbar.
