FF 22 & msn.com (safe mode also). When clicking the back or home button, FF will go back a page and the tab will blink and go back to a previous page.

I just got a new desktop running windows 8, 54 bit and FF 22. Msn.com is my home page. When I look at a article in msn and then hit either the back button or the home button to go back to the msn home page the msn tab will blink and goes back to the home page for a second, then it goes to a previous msn page. I also tried this in safe mode and it went back to a msn page that I was at before going into safe mode. I only notice this in the msn.com website. I have to click the home button a couple of times to get it to stay on the home page. Thank you, Mike T.

Hello,

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information. Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.

To Reset Firefox do the following:

  1. Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
  2. Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
  3. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
  4. Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.
