The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information. Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.

To Reset Firefox do the following:

1. Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
2. Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
3. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
4. Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

I could no go to firefox, when I tried I just got this site. I could not figure out how to get to Reset Firefox. The only thing that came up was tab bar, no options anywhere. I took it to a Geek and it took him a half an hour to fix it. I am really disappointed that Firefox does not have any tech support!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for your help, wish I could have figured it out!

I'm sorry you weren't able to use my suggestion, if you had come back I would have been able to give you another step that might have worked. This is Firefox's tech support site too, so you are in the right place :)

Note that you need to press the F11 key to enter and leave full screen mode.

If you are in full screen mode then hover the mouse to the top to make the Navigation Toolbar and Tab bar appear.
You can click the Maximize button at the top right to leave full screen mode or right click empty space on a toolbar and use "Exit Full Screen Mode" or press F11.
