FF will not update to 6.0 from 5.0.1.

FF keeps telling me that 6.0 is available...then goes to download ...says it is installing ....then goes to ......we strongly suggest that you install this update....and around and around it goes....never up dates.?

You could try taking a look at [article] to see if it helps.

Are there any kind of restrictions in place on your computer? (Sometimes employee computers have locks on them that make them unable them to instal anything)

NOTE: This may sound silly, but are you sure that you are not pressing a 'Back' or 'Cancel' button by mistake?

Thanks Strongwind but updates have never been a problem...till this one...my own PC...no restrictions that I know of and all i press is next or update or download....just downloads then says installing ..then goes to strongly suggest... then tries to download and stays continuously blue line going from LtoR. I can not give picture of what is not going on as the box minimises as soon as I try. but thanks for trying... any more suggestions welcome.

I have managed to solve this problem by Downloading direct from FF web downloads. Still the 6.0 opens two of the same page but it is working smoothly now at least.
