VPN won't turn on and blocks Firefox
Good evening, the built-in VPN has not been working for a week, when enabled, NO sites open and the message "could not connect to the VPN" pops up, the browser is blocked completely, what to do?

And you're not by any chance outside of the countries where the service is available?
Everything worked perfectly for almost six months
Most likely based on your ability to connect to an international node somewhere abroad… that you seemingly no longer have?

That's the exit node. You need to have visibility to the service endpoint first. To skip ahead assuming you're being blocked on regional level, you basically need a working VPN first to connect out to that built–in service apparently: support.mozilla.org/questions/1601484
