Why do I get a notification box daily titled Firefox Software Updater that asks if I want to allow this app to make changes to this device?
Every day or two I get a notification box titled Firefox Software Updates asking "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to this device?"

As for me, my strategy that's, Check for updates, but choose when install https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1588944#answer-1827960 (eg) At one point in the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mvgqS10N1Xc, a black screen appears, and that's normal, that's my strategy, the time it takes to answer Yes in the "User Account Control" (UAC) dialog box.
