How do I forward a calendar invite that's accepted on my calendar

I have meetings on my calendar, that I'd like to be able to forward to someone. It wasn't my meeting, so it won't let me add an attendee to a meeting.

I use to use ICS inspector to inspect and save the ICS file off of my calendar into a separate file, and then forward that file to me. That was a bit cumbersome but was the only way I'd ever been able to forward an invite. Now, I'm using the new beta of Thunderbird, and ICS inspector isn't compatible.

How does anyone use Lightning, if you can't forward a meeting invite from your calendar to someone? I've always thought that should be something a calendar should handle.

it appears from searching that internet that maybe Lightning had that capability at one point in its history. I see references to a menu that existed, but doesn't seem to in the UI anymore.

It was logged 8+ years ago as a bug it seems: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=540553

I'm not looking for delegation, I'm just looking for a simple way to forward the ICS file of an event on my calendar to someone else that wants to be informed or optionally attend. Just because I'm not the organizer shouldn't mean that I can't share the details of a meeting on my calendar.

My alternative is to retype all the details of the invite, because everything that appears in the heading can't even be cut/pasted. It's all non-selectable text.
