Cannot download Yahoo mail

I have three E-mail accounts on Tbird - AOL, gmail, and yahoo. AOL and gmail work fine but the Yahoo account will not download my mail. Each time I open Tbird, I get this message:

"The current operation on 'inbox' did not succeed. The mail server for account MilusC1@yahoo.com responded: [CLIENTBUG] SELECT Command is not valid in this state."

I have deleted the account and re-entered the information. I have changed my Yahoo password. Nothing helps.

How do I get my Yahoo mail account to work with Tbird? Thanks for the help
