I recently installed Verizon Internet Security Suite by McAfee and reading, moving and deleting emails now often have a long delay, how can I fix this?
Ever since I installed the McAfee program, often when I try to read, move or delete an email, it just sits there for up to 10 seconds before anything happens. I can send emails without any problem. Sometimes receiving them has also slowed down.

I am not clear about the instructions. In Tool, Add on, what is listed is McAfee Security Center FF Plugin DLL. Is this the one I need to delete?
Where do I uncheck Email attachments under Real Time Scanning >Settings>Scan these attachments and locations
Where is the systray icon?
I am running Windows 7.
