Installed TB 31, now can't send or receive email
As soon as I upgraded to TB 31 and reopened the program, I was unable to connect to either of my email accounts -- incoming or outgoing. (It hangs at "connecting to [name of server].") The fact that this happens with both accounts suggests that the problem isn't with them. The set-up details and my passwords seem to have been preserved correctly. Can anyone help?

Make sure Thunderbird is allowed by your personal firewall.
Thanks for the reply, but that's not the problem. The firewall (and all other programs) were exactly the same before I upgraded TB, and I had no trouble connecting to the servers then.
