Someone else's passwords saved in Saved Password as well as my own? Brand new install, using Sync with own account.
I've noticed I have someone else's passwords saved in Firefox as well as my own. It's a clean install of Win 7 I did myself on a newly formatted disk. I use Firefox Sync between devices.
Any ideas how this happened and is it possible theis other person can see my details saved passwords? Some of the websites saved are rather confidential.

Unless there was a problem on the Sync server, it sounds as though someone else used one of your devices or joined your Sync account somehow. If you look at the usernames associated with the saved passwords, does that provide any hints as to who the other person might be?
If you think someone has gained unauthorized access to your Sync account, you could zap the account by setting a new recovery key. This would prevent any further spread of your information to unauthorized devices.
Probably a good idea to make a manual settings backup first. See Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles. (You can copy your entire Firefox settings/profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
Also, you probably should change your passwords on the affected sites just in case.
