Firefox recently updated itself to V 37.01 (x86 en-US) Now I have 2 versions listed in Control panel. How do I uninstall the older one without uninstalling the newer version? Installed plugins:

  • npAliSSOLogin Plugin
  • npwangwang
  • GEPlugin
  • Google Update
  • NPWLPG
  • Picasa plugin
  • 5.1.30514.0
  • nptrademanager
  • VLC media player Web Plugin 2.1.3

I run Windows 7 ultimate on a laptop Thanks for your answer..

  1. Manually back up and restore Firefox profile data
  2. Uninstall the older version

If both are uninstalled you have the profile backed up.
