I share my Sync account across 1 Android + 3 desktop devices (Win 10 or 11). So far no problems. A few days ago all the devices started dropping out of Sync.

I would say this all started with the Android device (v.153), which seems to have logged out of the account on its own. After reconnecting it, all the desktop devices went nuts...

1) desktop machines will need to reconnect to Mozilla account every time FF is launched 2) about:logins is always empty, even after logging back in and completing a sync routine 3) even when it states "Account disconnected" - "Sync is off", they will still receive tabs sent from the Android device; they can't send tabs as they won't see the other devices. Also, even while disconnected, they were able to add a new bookmark to the account. So, account is not actually fully disconnected... only some parts of Sync are.

Another symptom. Account's Connected Services list is clean and up to date (see images). Account recognizes new logins as already known hardware and avoids doubling them. But in Sync there's a mess of instances... all new attempts are seen as a new device. Many of these are of course dead links, as the latest login overwrites previous ones.

This happened while desktops were updating to v.154, but I wouldn't say it's related to that, as two of those machines also run a different Mozilla account on a second profile, and so far that account is not misbehaving.

The Android device also got disconnected a few more times, but now it seems more stable than its siblings, and the passwords are still accessible (as as you can see in the pics, it's not showing as a doubled Sync device).

I didn't try signing off all devices because I'm worried I won't be able to get back in... anyway, manually signing off a single one didn't change anything.

It seems to me this is a server-side issue. Is there a way to "refresh" the account without losing all data? Thank you

I am trying to sync my computer and phone and it sends a code to my email address. but out of the 3 times I have tried I have received 2 codes but at least 20 minutes after sending so I cannot use them. I am using Thunderbird for my email

Firefox deleted my entire browsing history while signed in with syncing on, with no user interaction. This should never happen. What is the point of Firefox sync if it does this?

Right after updating Firefox to 155.03Beta, bookmarks, history, and synchronized tabs are completely empty on the sidebar. No data, at all, except for AI Chatbot's xml's. Didn't downloads once appear on the sidebar, too, by option? You have to go to Tabs and Browsing >> Browser Layout and select Show Sidebar to customize any of it. Library (Downloads and History) will not even show nor import anything. Not only this, but the new appearance of the sidebar is different, and about:preferences (settings) does not show their page titles, anymore, but only their icons. Settings tried to load when first opened, but it failed to name them. Is there some configured file and/or data on the beta that will not let each of these names and icons appear properly?

I believe I got an automatic update to Version 154.0 yesterday on my Windows 11 laptop. When I opened Firefox after the update I got stuck

My Bookmarks appear to still be available, but my passwords are gone. The passwords are still available on my iPhone and iPad

I have tried syncing to no avail.

I need my passwords. How can I get them back?

Hello, I have an issue with the history not being synced between my Android smartphone and my Windows PC/s.

History synchronizes just fine between my PCs (Win 10/11). Other sync functions between my phone and PC work just fine - checking the open tabs on another device, sending a tab to another device.

I am currently using 2 "sets" of Firefoxes on my devices with 2 different accounts, and the issue is present on both:

Set 1: Firefox - PC1 (Win10), PC2 (Win11), Phone (Motorola Edge 40 NEO) Set 2: Firefox Nightly - PC (Win11), Phone (Motorola Edge 40 NEO)

I already updated Firefox everywhere, logged out and in, cleared the cache & storage, restarted my phone etc.

why did firefox delete most of my shortcuts on my old pc after i synced with my new laptop and how do i get them back. I am a senior of 71 yrs not a computer tech.this just screwed everything up for me!HELP!!

I've installed Firefox Standard Stable on Windows 11, signed in to my Firefox account, and browsed for about 3–4 days.

I decided to use it on my phone too. After installing it and signing in with the same account on my Android device, about 2,200 browsing history items appeared on the phone.

I don't know why. Before browsing, I always cleared my history on my PC using the following options:

CTRL+SHIFT+DEL and selected Everything, with all 5 options selected.

The browsing history data only appeared on the phone.

My concern is: the data must have been downloaded from somewhere since it was cleared on my PC. So, where are those 2,200 history items stored in the cloud, and how can I delete them?

I don't care about my browsing data. If it were sensitive, I would have deleted my Firefox account by now and used the app without an account.

I love Firefox, and this is a big concern that should be addressed ASAP.

Hi there, I have been using the Firefox browser for many years and had saved all my login passwords to various sites on it and I never had a problem with it. But this time, after installing Windows and the Firefox browser, when I logged into my account and turned on the sync, it did not bring any of my previous information. When I go to my account management page, it writes my membership date at the bottom of the page as of today (2026), while as I mentioned, I have had an account on the Firefox browser for many years. How is it possible that my previous information does not exist and it recognizes me as a new user and what is the solution?!

Up until today, when I opened Firefox browser on my Mac I would already be signed in. Today I’ve had to sign in using Passkey AND password each and every time I open the browser. Also, all my saved passwords have disappeared from the Mac OS browser. They seem to be intact on my iPhone app, but even after a couple of “Sync”s, I still have neither passwords nor autofill working on my Mac. Is there a temporary glitch in the system today, or are there steps I need to fix this? Thanks

Firefox sync is synchronizing; most notably, my passwords are not available. I am repeatedly asked to sign in; even after successfully signing in, I am immediately prompted again for my password and 2FA. After logging in (even if prompted to do so again) Firefox reports that it is syncing correctly, but password auto-fills are unavailable, and about:logins shows no entries, as is this were a fresh install. On restarting Firefox, I am once again logged out of Sync and need to log in yet again.

This is not affecting my mobile device; only my desktops and laptop.

I first noticed the problem about two days ago. Since then, I have tried the following suggested fixes, to no avail:

• Restarting Firefox
• Restarting my computers
• Restarting in safe mode
• Creating a new profile
• Resetting my password
• Logging out of all devices and logging back in

Recently I had to install a new windows, and I signed in to my Firefox account and found all the data from the previous windows including the open tabs, I could find them from "Tabs from other devices".

But now can't find them any more, although that device name is still there in my account page, under " connected services", please advise.

TLDR - I have two profiles set up, but they don't sync across devices.

I have Firefox on my main computer and recently got a second computer. When I downloaded and signed into Firefox on the second computer I created a new profile so I could have different bookmarks, settings, etc. At some point I got signed out of Firefox on the second computer. When I signed back in, it didn't show any profiles - just my usual default settings. On the main computer it still shows two profiles, including the one I set up on the second computer. I have tried signing out and back in on both computers, and manually syncing data. The main computer still shows two profiles, the second computer still shows zero profiles (but has my Firefox settings/bookmarks saved as default).

I have both my PC and my phone signed into the same account and they are both synced. When using the option to send tab to my phone from my PC nothing appears on my phone but there's a pop-up on my PC saying it sent the tab or it was it's a check mark or something that suggests that it knows I wanted to send a tab. And then usually when I am trying to go to bed there is a tab that was playing on my PC so I go to bed and I open up my phone, I select the tab in the sync section and I sync the devices and then I attempt to close the tab. About half the time, honestly probably more the tab will not close and stays active on my PC and it is usually a twitch tab so then when I'm trying to sleep I just hear sound coming from my PC, the tab is gone from my phone so I can't even attempt to hit the x on it again so I end up having to get up and exit on my computer. I think also I've tried to send a tab from my phone to my PC, I could have sworn that was a thing and I don't remember that working either.

For some reason, when I try to sync all my stuff from my desktop Win 11 firefox/duckduckgo system, to my new Win 11 laptop, the only option I can get is to sync with a mobile device.

I had no trouble doing this some months ago with another laptop, but this time I cannot find how to do this after trying for over an hour . . . . . .

Has anything been changed that won't allow syncing with another 'big' device, please?
