When selecting which email account to send FROM, the drop down shows a number of old email accounts. These accounts have been deleted. There are no details showing under the "account settings" or "Outgoing server." Which file stores the mail server information and where is it? I currently have around forty different email accounts across five mail servers.

I'm asking this question so I can post some helpful information for people wanting to create a backup of their profile.

How do you locate the correct folder to backup? The backup must contain everything, profiles, mail accounts, emails, address books, calendar, preferences - the lot. The backup can be used to transfer between computers.

In Firefox, the close button is only partially clickable and is not accessible on the right side. However, when I hover over it, a square background appears around the button. Could you please take a look?

On my Firefox Home Page, I selected two rows of PINNED shortcuts. Each time I open a webpage that webpage is added not only to the two selected rows of shortcuts, but "keeps" EVERY webpage selected after filling the two selected shortcut rows. It is not only annoying and inconvenient, but s l o w s work time to a crawl around these shortcuts ... few, if any, are helpful. If I want to re-entry an UNPINNED shortcuts, I go to history and select the one I want. WHEN is Fire Fox to solve this seemingly simple but annoying problem?

I have been using the INBOX that is under my email address. This worked for years except one time before when the same thing happened where the messages are from years ago. I have to go further down to use ALLMAIL to get the current messages. The INBOX shows "3" while the ALLMAIL shows 5,626.

So, the INPUT is not current as before but old messages. How do I fix this?

I have used Firefox since version 1.5 and have loved it and the community since. However, since finally scrapping Windows and switching completely to linux, Firefox has been frequently troublesome with random crashes. The crashes occur on any website I may be on and for seemingly no reason. It happens when I'm in the middle of browsing a page, just opened a new tab, or even when Firefox is simply open and I'm active on another open application.

Environment is as follows:

OS: Zorin OS 18 (Latest patches) (Based on Ubuntu) Mobo: Asus Crosshair VI Hero (Latest available BIOS) CPU: Ryzen 9 5900XT GPU: EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 XC Gaming (10GB) Ram: 8GBx4 G.Skill TridentZ RGB DDR4 (3200) Sys Drive: Samsung 970Evo M.2 Nvme 500GB

Firefox is installed via Flatpack through the built in app store in Zorin OS.

The crashes will sometimes be constant as well. Such as when it crashes, crash reporter comes up, then I click "Restart Firefox" and the second I see the window, it crashes again. This has been a constant problem though at random times ever since I switched back to Linux about 5 months ago.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to have to change my primary browser from one that I am generally so happy with, and is also the browser that I recommend to everyone.

Does Firefox render CSS Grid/Flexbox gap properties differently in certain versions? Any advice on CSS prefixes or fixes for Firefox would be greatly appreciated!

the login never completes and there are messages at the bottom of the screen that it is waiting for various sites like ips.navigatorixa mail.com if I wait Firefox eventually times out with site not responding

I appreciate that my browser is blocking trackers. I even have two additional extensions to boost the power of this. But I don't want the announcement every time I load up my browser. How do I turn this off? I'm using Firefox 153.0.3 (Build #2016176519), on a Google Pixel 7 running Android 16, kernel 6.1.145-android14-11-gfa1d6308d1fe-ab14691759 #1 Fri Jan 9 16:33:46 UTC 2026.

I wanted to export my address book from my Windows10 PC, after a while I got an error message, something happened during the attempt. Since then I cannot start Thunderbird anymore. The program does not respond. So I can't find the Thunderbird version.

I cannot get into my Paypal account because Mozilla Firefox is asking me to set up a passkey. I press Continue and it tells me to enter a PIN. I don't have a PIN set up that I know of. If I try one, it is wrong and says I have tried too many times. When I go to the Settings where I should set something up with Window Hello, it says it is not available. I just want to log into my Paypal account like I used to. How can I bypass all this stuff?

I thought I was updating firefox today but the process lost the order of my book marks and makes them extremely hard to find. Some I used several times a day with one click. Now it takes me five clicks just to get to them and then a search. The old system worked perfectly for my purposes. Is there anyway to get back the old bookmarks tab and my old bookmarks in relatively decent order? The text promised me all my bookmarks,etc. I never would had clicked refresh if I had any idea this would be the outcome.
