I recently installed Thunderbird on both of my Windows 10 PCs.

I have two email accounts:

adita@shaw.ca

and

adita2@shaw.ca

The first account worked perfectly upon completing the Thunderbird set up.

The second account does not work and I have spent hours playing with various Configuration options.

It's very strange that BOTH of these email address successfully pass the "Connection Security" test.

I'm out of ideas.

Incidentally, I still have Eudora 7 on my PC and BOTH emails are working fine in that application.

Hopefully, you can assist me to resolve this problem.

Enclosed are jpg copies of the current sets of filters failures in my TB email program.

TB Error0 shows the 6 emails that have arrived and are placed in the INBOX. However, each of these has a corresponding filter set up to move them upon arrival to a separate subject email mailbox.

Note: If I highlight the INBOX and then go to Tools > Run Filters On Folder ... all of these INBOX email messages will be correctly filtered and moved to their respective email mailbox, BUT each of them is shown as having been "read" and unless you pay close attention, you may not know where these INBOX emails were sent.

I am also enclosing TB Error1 & 2 that show the last couple of days message filtering errors.

I can find nothing wrong with how each of these filters are set up, yet they seem to consistently fail to operate when new emails arrive.

Note one of them is for incoming emails from ... schiffsovereign.com. I have edited this filter repeatedly, even deleted it and re-input the information. Yet the filter never takes hold and does what it is designed to do. I am enclosing a jpg of that specific filter as TB Error3

I am looking for suggestions on how to fix this problem.

Windooze 11. TBird 152.0 installed on June 20th. Now it seems like TBird is not displaying HTML emails properly. They are displayed but not at the beginning. The first line is sometimes just the bottom half of a sentence in the email (if that makes sense). I can't scroll back to the beginning. If I go to outlook and display the same email it displays fine.

Did something change in 152.0 to cause this?

When I try to make a Google search I get the following message, "I'm not a robot" with a reCAPTCHA: "Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. I know this has been an ongoing issue, but it only happens with firefox on both my computers, vpn and all extensions off. Even tried a new IP address, same issue.

It is with a great deal of anxiety and concern I relay this issue. The mozilla webpage I have been using with great effect has crashed today without warning. Can a technical staff assist immediately. The long term damage is real and has an unfortunate side effect.

First some feedback on your website, the URL is https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new/thunderbird/form If you are going to present the user with a list to select from, as you do in your selection list, "Which topic best describes your question?" ALWAYS present the user with an OTHER option. Despite you ego, thinking you can cover all the bases that a user will want to send you a message about, YOU CAN'T!!! Make sure ALL selection lists have an Other option on your website.

My version to Thunderbird, 140.9.0esr (64-bit), running under Linux (OpenSuSE 15.6) has developed a problem with the Trash folder. Despite the fact that I am deleting email messages or moving them to the Trash folder, nothing is showing up in the Trash folder, even though the messages do seem to be getting deleted or moved from the source folder. Also the Trash folder is always showing me I have 99 unread messages in it.

I have tried to repair the Trash folder, but no joy. So how do I determine what's bugging my trash folder, and how do I get it to behave itself once again? Thanks in advance for all thoughtful replies and responses!

My email is jbabin@cox.net, which now redirected to a Yahoo site. Was working unbtil a month ago. Now it says downloading emails on startup but I cannot get or see anything after 8/20/2026......

My Inbox folder has suddenly dropped to second last position in the folder list. How can I get it back to the top of the list? Is it possible to move the folders around?

I start FF in safe-mode. I open a local page which includes only one URL. When I hover on this link I see (`tcpdump`) a DNS lookup being performed for this domain. I followed the suggestions from Mozilla but I still see this.

How do I stop this access.

I use FF "156.0 (64-bit)" on Fedora 44.

For the past 2 weeks now, every single time I search on Google on private browsing there would be a CAPTCHA. I tried troubleshoot mode but the same thing happened.

My current version of Firefox is 151.0.4 (64-bit) & for the past 2 weeks or so every time I use the search bar to google something it triggers one of those "We've detected unusual activity from your network" requiring a Captcha. At first I tried all of the typical stuff [antivirus, vpn, extensions, etc...] to make sure that wasn't the issue. But as of yesterday & confirmed today I can actually go to Google's website first & do the search from there with no issue & no captcha.

So, whatever the issue is has to do specifically with doing the search via the search bar... for some reason. Is this a bug in the browser, or is there perhaps some setting that could cause this to happen in the about:config page? Though, I doubt a setting could be it because I've changed the settings I've changed now for years without causing this issue.

I'm trying to setup Netzero email on Thunderbird. I get the error message, posted in question. Outgoing mail works but can't load inbox messages. I got the following error message when I first started Thunderbird - "The STAT command did not succeed. Error getting message numbers and sizes.Mail server pop.netzero.com responded: POP access disabled"

For about 2 weeks, EVERY time I try to write an email, after typing a few lines or so, the whole window 'grays out' and becomes UN-responsive. I get no error message. Waiting for it to respond doesn't work and I have to close out and re-start Thunderbird. Sometimes Thunderbird will have saved some portion of my email in my 'Drafts' folder, but not reliably, so I have to frequently 'Control + S' - save it to avoid having to re-type the entire message again. Troubleshoot Mode doesn't help, nor does clearing the cache. I've been hoping an update would come up that would solve this, either from Thunderbird or Windows (11), but not so far. Please tell me how I should resolve this - I have used Thunderbird for years (and regularly contribute too) and don't want to have to change to different email client.

Upgraded from Windows 10 to 11 a couple months ago. Since then, TB freezes nearly every time I am composing an email. "Help About" says TB is up to date. Remedies? Or do I have to wait for a new version?
