I am using Ubuntu Linux on a desktop PC running Firefox in kiosk mode going to a specific web page - Every time Firefox does an update (since version 147) the kiosk mode stops working. The very latest update, after a reboot, just shows the menu bars and not Firefox going to that specified web page. Has the kiosk code changed since v147 ?

Have used this wi-fi before on Fedora Workstation 44. Reinstalled linux using Xfce Fedora 44. Selected now from list of available wi-fi connections and indicates connected at 79%. Firefox not able to use connection? Thanks for any help available.

With each update by Mozilla for Firefox for Windows, I lose abilities on sites I previously had. For instance, before the last two updates, I had no problem to add or paste an image into chatgpt. Now it Firefox will not allow me. If I change to any other browser (Duckduckgo, chrome, etc.) then I can add and paste images. This is not the only website I have had problems with since the last updates, and in every instance changing to another browser fixes the problem. I have made no changes to my settings with any update.

Overnight firefox doesn't launch anymore.

I have firefox installed via Software Manager flatpak (official Mozilla version) but it doesn't launch anymore. Clicking launch does nothing. Version is 156.0

I tried to launch the program in safe mode via console but it straight up doesn't find it?

I would love to add troubleshooting info but I can't actually get to it. I assume an update broke something but no idea how to solve this, can I go to an earlier version?

The crossword on the home page today has a clue has a very misleading answer. It gives the clue "a quartet, but doubled", which should be Octet, however it uses the very outdated and (personally believed to be) inappropriate answer as it would make sense that quarTET would then imply ocTET. A more apt clue should have been, "Triad, but for eight". Very aware this is a personal gripe rather than an actual issue, but is there a process where the crosswords are checked or are they pulled from a 3rd party site?

I recently downloaded Firefox and was trying to import all of my Chrome data, including my bookmarks. For some reason when I go to import my browser data, there isn't even a option to import bookmarks. One of my other chrome accounts has the option to import bookmarks (a old work account I no longer use anymore), but my personal account just doesn't have it. Am I missing a step in this process or is there something I need to do on chrome to make my bookmarks accessible to Firefox? I really don't want to go in a manually add all my bookmarks..

Why is Firefox losing my bookmarks? They're being replaced with a little globe, and they don't work. Also, yesterday's history was lacking at least two-thirds of the sites I visited.

The current version of Firefox is very frustrating to use. It often will not let me enter a password but will send me to the saved passwords. I do not want to put all my passwords on the computer. I have 2 U tube accounts, and the new Firefox will not let me enter the account info directly, but sends me to Google. I have had to resort to using Microsoft Edge out of sheer frustration with Firefox. Previous versions of Firefox did not have these problems

In the past couple of weeks (say Sept 2026), Firefox has started signing me out of everything when it closes or updates even though 'clear browsing data' is UNchecked. What else can I do to stop this?

I have tried all the ways you suggest to import my bookmarks over from Chrome to Firefox and can't find them anywhere. They are not in the library. I wish to have my bookmarks in a Bookmarks Bar as I did with Chrome.

Everything was ok, but exidently (maybe after some update) my firefox browser just stopped recovering my pages after closing and reopening it. YES, it is turned on in settings and I tried every single advice I found, this fucking browser just don' do it. I don't have extensions. There are backups files in sessionstore-backups, but it doesn't load it. I looked at sessionstore-logs there was a one error(date is about time recovery stopped working), which was caused by lack of free space on my disk, but now I have a lot of free space and it still doesn't work

When I try to post a comment on LinkedIn, a dark veil appears on screen. I have never seen this before. As far as I know, I have not changed any settings. LinkedIn says it's a firefox problem. I can upload a screenshot if needed.
