Can't find 4 recent new emails in any folders, but I still have the notifications.
Thunderbird has sent me corner screen notifications as well as the notification sign on the thunderbird icon of receiving new emails, however some of these emails are not showing up in any of my inbox/junk/unread mail folders. I am able to find some of the emails that thunderbird says I am receiving, however I am not able to find all of them. Yesterday it was only two.. but today it has grown to 4. Is there another folder that these emails could have gone into? Or do I need to reinstall the application entirely?

What are 'corner screen notifications'?
Are you using any filters?
What is your account type - POP or IMAP?
Re-installing Thunderbird won't do any good, as the problem is in your profile.
