why is mozilla support so unhelpful
in the last few days I have posted two questions basically about the same issue first question I was given a response in a foreign language 2nd time I was give a response by someone obviously using a totally different version of firefox
its not very useful to be frank !

That's because that its done by volunteers. There is no way of knowing who they are or what their level of technical experience is unfortunately.
After all anyone can cite an article on this forum to say it will fix someones issue.

I'll mark this thread "offtopic" since it's about the support you received (or lack of it?) in your two other support questions. If you wish, you could start a new thread about your problems getting Firefox support in the contributors forum, /forums/contributors.

After all anyone can cite an article on this forum to say it will fix someones issue.
If SUport MOzilla KB articles are sited we do try to make sure they have been reviewed and that any suggestions in them have been tested and shown to work.
