Use Firefox Home to sync

Unfortunately Firefox Home is one-way only. It does not send browsing history or bookmarks, etc. back to the Sync server. If you no longer have your recovery key you'll have to create a new one which will erase the information stored on the server. That happens because the recovery key is used to encrypt your data before sending it to the server. We (or anyone else) can't read what's on the server without the recovery key.
