When I open a new tab my system has been hijacked to take me to http://www.searchqu.com/406?tag=newtab. How do I fix this?

I added the program iLivid to my system and now when I open a new tab it takes me to http://www.searchqu.com/406?tag=newtab. I have been hijacked. I don't see how to uninstall iLivid. Can you help?
