Firefox 7 stays logged in to gmail after Firefox is shut down and restarted

Previous threads exist about this same problem in FF4. This is a report to indicate it still happens in FF7.0.1.

I'm not using app pins, nor remembering passwords (it's completely disabled), nor checking the 'stay logged in' box. I've purged all cookies. I've waited a while before reopening. The fact remains:

If you're logged into gmail and close FF7 (with tab restore on next start), when you re-open the browser, you are auto-magically logged into gmail. This is a MAJOR security problem. This was not a problem in FF3. Other mail services work fine (including my secure work mail); the only offending site I know of is the FF-gmail connection.

This is an embarrassing defect needing fixing.
