My firefox won't open new tabs with the button or when I press CTRL+t, what is the problem?

I can't open any new tabs what so ever. I tried uninstalling and re-installing, and there was no change.

Uninstall the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened.
