I'm using Firefox 3.6.4. Firefox won't save my history even though I have it set to do so & sometimes I can't use the back button. Also nothing happens when I press enter with the search bar selected, and when I click "bookmark this page", nothing happens.

Also having a few problems with extensions, Adblock plus would no longer respond to clicking on it on the button to the right of the search bar, and it seems like when I update NoScript it disappears. I also have Ghostery and Zone Alarm Forcefield extensions which seem to be working fine.

I've read about deleting the sqlite folder but it didn't appear to be in my profiles folder.

Every time Firefox opened

See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Locked_or_damaged_places.sqlite --- Make sure that ZoneAlarm ForceField isn't causing this and the other issues issues.

See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Unable_to_install_themes_or_extensions --- Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes). See Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems and Troubleshoot issues with plugins like Flash or Java to fix common Firefox problems

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears. You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the Safe mode start window to disable all extensions. You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")
