FireFox is emptying my folders of bookmarks

Firefox is continually emptying my toolbar folders of bookmarks. I am forced to open "Help and Report," then choose "More Trouble Shooting Information" then open "Profile Folder" then close Firefox then select "Places.sqlite" delete it then restart Firefox and the folders are repopulated with the removed bookmarks. To date no one has offered any support. This happens multiple times per week. I cannot be the only one this is happening to. Someone please offer a permanent solution. I have removed then reinstalled Firefox a dozen times and the situations persists. I have a Win 11 Home OS

I see you're having issues with the profile data being unreliable going back many versions. None of the earlier reports included any troubleshooting data so it's hard to guess, but this looks like e.g. a security software, like an antivirus, is conflicting with access to the profile/bookmark data causing the various symptoms reported over time — not being able to write new bookmark data etc.

Could you consider excluding the profile folders from any security software scans or quarantines to ensure integrity and exclusivity of the access only to Firefox itself?
