I want to see stories on my homepage but the option is missing, any solutions?

Been trying to get stories on here for a bit now but the setting is gone as you can see in the screenshot From what I've seen online it should be there because I'm in the US and not using any vpns or anything like that and I've tried reinstalling, deleting the cache, messed w feature studies, and even tried the beta and nightly versions but got nothing different idk what's wrong all I know is I want to see them like I do on my iphone so any help is great

But no they still aren't unfortunately I noticed they weren't there first then checked the setting and then online for solutions but to no avail so finally posted here because I am entirely clueless now But I do really want them back so again anything helps
