Is there a way to not display all these "news" and ads that come up on Firefox when it opens? All liberal junk!

When Firefox starts, there are all these supposed "news" stories, and almost all of them are left-wing extremist leaning, anti-American junk, Don't know who supplies or selects them, but is there any way to set it so it presents a more balanced (and truthful) array, or failing that, doesn't come up at all? Thanks.

What news do you think is more truthful as the right leaning conservative and right wing media is well known for being not truthful unless it benefits them. Not saying left leaning news is perfect but they have been far more truthful in comparison.

Please re-read my original post. I did not ask for "right-leaning" content. What I asked was "... is there any way to set it so it presents a more balanced (and truthful) array, or failing that, doesn't come up at all." Thought that was a simple enough request, but I'll try to clarify it a bit to possibly avoid any overreactions from either side. What I suggested is that it be "balanced" and "truthful," not that it be right-leaning or left-leaning. Really can't imagine how that should be so objectionable. Well, actually, I do understand.
