Does Firefox have its own browser that is not owned by Microsoft? I am always blocked two-thirds through the installation process.

I have now downloaded Duckduck as my browser but I really want to have Mozilla's own browser, not a Microsoft-owned or Google browser. Every time I try to download the Mozilla browser I am told it has been interrupted - always when it is two-thirds of the way through the installation process. Why ?

Maybe try the full offline setup instead of the small online stub installer. https://www.firefox.com/download/all/desktop-release/

Also the Firefox web browser is most certainly not owned by Microsoft as Firefox from Mozilla is not just for Windows as it is also for macOS, Linux and mobile versions for Android and iOS/iPadOS. It also uses Gecko and is not a Chromium based browser like Edge for example is.
