Cannot reopen tab groups when using Vertical Tabs

Tab groups work well with the standard tab bar, but when changing to vertical tabs, there is no clear way to expand the menu (aka hit the 'V' at the right of the tab bar for horizontal tabs) to see the tab group.

The only fix i found was to turn off vertical tabs, open the tab group, then turn on vertical tabs again.

This button has a different icon when Vertical Tabs are enabled: Fx138VerticalListAllTabs. For reference, see Tab overview menu.
