Can't get past "This browser is no longer supported" message when trying to access "twitter.com". Have turned off all known ad blockers. Reload produces same result.

You can remove all data stored in Firefox for a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").
Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox for this domain like history and cookies and passwords and exceptions and cache, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data for that domain that you do not want to lose, make sure to backup this data or make a note.
You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.
If you revisit a 'forgotten' website, data for that website will be saved once again.

Received message above from moderator 'cor-el'.
The steps can not be followed because they don't match my Firefox. Once I go to History, none of the following listed links exist.
I also tried clicking on the "Mark it as solved" box and Firefox can not find the connected link.
The proposed solution sounded like something I should try, so I searched for "forget about this site" in Help. There I found the requirement to right click on a site history listing. The action seems to have solved my issue but all the unusable information and invalid links made finding the solution a chore.

@zeroknight - I am not familiar with Troubleshoot Mode and the results from search don't give any guidance on how to access it. Do you have a good link to an explanation of how to access and use it?

Where did you previously looked for "Forget About This Site" to see where the confusion came from?
@cor-el - It is clearly my problem. Reading the term "context menu" I kept looking for a menu after selecting History. I did not wake up to the fact that "context menu of an history entry" meant I needed to select a history record first. My ignorance.

Someone still needs to look at why Firefox can't find the "Mark it as solved" link.
