I just want to select a number of contacts in my adress book and edit them all together.

Let's say I choose 20 adresses and I want to edit them at once saying all of them belong to the same organization. So in organization box I type the name and all of them now are modified at the same time:

I am not aware of any capability in that regard. Personally I would export the address book to a CSV format, edit it to my satisfaction in a spreadsheet (but not excel as it struggles with Unicode) and then re-import the contacts all tidied up.
