Firefox eats 6GB of RAM, but still has long latecy to respond and tabs show loading circle.
Updated to latest versions, PC is restated daily, Firefox uses 6GB of RAM, default performance preferences are turned on, cashe is regularly emptied. But still, it has long latency time between mouse clock and response, scrolling down the page results in grey block at the bottom and I have towait for the contet to load, same with tabs, they are greyed out and a loadin circle is showing for a lot of time.
PC is 2yo, i7-4910MQ, RAM 32GB running on 960GB SSD.
Any ideas other than default "clear cashe"?

By the way, all problems started when Firefox became multi-threaded, it's pure nightmare. I have to manually set 8 processes to "real-time" and it does not help. Multithreading decreases performance compared to the latest single-threaeded version.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Could you please run a tool from http://memtest.org/
in order to check the integrity of your RAM?
You will need a thumb or disk drive to install it on.
Do you let Windows handle the page file or did you set a fixed size ?
If you use a fixed size for the page file then try the former and let Windows handle the page file.
If you use Adblock Plus then you can consider uBlock Origin as a replacement to see if that works better (lower memory footprint).
