I'm sorry guys but you are really want, that the Firefox users to replace and left the Firefox... You're making such big nonsenses. The normal user not change any things on the settings page, becouse this people not an expert or programer.. and lot of website where the video is a center part of the site design, will be absolutelly useless, becouse the video not starting utomatically. In the Microsoft edge and Chrome the video is starting... so please befor the idiots there, will figured the next feature on the firefox, asking the users.... Now, lot of website owner, need putting a message on the website that the user must change the Firefox browser for the Microsoft edge or chrome becouse the embeded video not starting in the Firefox.. Congratulation guys....

While this may not be a feature that some websites like, it was a highly requested feature from the users of Firefox, so it was added. It can easily be disabled from the Autoplay section of the Firefox options page.

There are many benefits to this feature, including improved performance, less internet usage and it stops websites from blaring audio into the user's ear when they load the website (this was the main reason).

Stopping videos from automatically playing has minimal impact on the user's experience on a website. If they want to play a video, they just need to click the play button. If websites want their content to play automatically the video can just be set to muted, since the default behaviour of Firefox is to only automatically stop videos that play audio.
