Do you see anything in your bookmarks? Does your history also show up? Recover lost or missing Bookmarks has some steps that can help.

Also of note, you should update to a more modern version of Mac OS. At least El Capitan, or is possible, Mojave. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT206886
