Thunderbird buttons in preferences are not displaying properly

Thunderbird 60.0-3 does not show the buttons in the preferences section while version 52.9.1-1 did. I'm using Debian 9.5 stable 64 bit and the XFCE desktop environment. See the attachments for more information. Keep up the great work with Thunderbird!
