I am asking a question in order to register, so I can mark answers to existing questions as being helpful. This is a really inefficient process to register.

Firefox if you're reading this - you really need to allow people to register without forcing them to ask a question. I have found many existing questions that have helped with many of my customization issues, or at least confirmed for me that those are no longer options (since TabMixPlus doesn't work on the new version) and I just want to be able to mark answers as helpful so other people looking for the same things can tell what answers really worked or were correct. Me having to go through this new question process in order to register is dumb.

You can click the blue "Volunteer for Mozilla Support" button at the bottom of the "https://support.mozilla.org" home page. That brings you to the "https://support.mozilla.org/get-involved" page. Click "Answer questions in the support forum" to be able to "Register to be a Contributor".

Hi Support Volunteers can not do anything about the process but you can. Copy/Paste what you want from your Original stuff above and then go to the 3 Bar Menu in Firefox and then Help --> Submit Feedback and it will be read by a team.

No, the Original will not work.: There is a sorta Beta one : https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/tab-mix-plus-webextension/ Other stuff can be done with other Extensions if you tell us what your looking for if you can not find it. Or it can be done with userChrome which allows Firefox to be Customized 235 million ways

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Firefox is the name of the web browser (third one as it was Firebird and Phoenix in early Releases) as Mozilla is the company.

As you can see the desktop Fiirefox is not the only thing supported here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/

Most people coming here have a question about issue(s) they are having and Mozilla would rather people ask it with their own threads. This method also introduces people to Knowledge Base articles that may be related and perhaps answer some or all of their questions. The more traditional way of registering would not introduce them to the KB quite the same and would also potentially greatly increase thread hijacks of people asking for support in a existing thread of same or similar issue. This thread hijacking can occur quite often on the independent forums.mozillaZine.org which has a traditional way of account registering so I am not making assumptions

This is only for feedback related to the desktop Firefox web browser and not for the feedback on the support.mozilla.org site itself.

The better place would be https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/forums/contributors
