I'll be composing an email (in yahoo mail) and suddenly the "Inspect Element" message box appears and will not allow me to continue writing until I open one of the prompts then close, often multiple times in a five minute period.

'Inspect Element' should only come up when you call it. Is it possible you press the <Control> key by accident?

Hi,

There are two (main) ways to get the 'Inspect Element' box to show up - maybe if you can figure out how you may accidentally bring it up, you'll be able to prevent in from happening again (fingers crossed) :

See : https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Tools/Page_Inspector/How_to/Open_the_Inspector

And also : https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/tools/Keyboard_shortcuts#Opening_and_closing_tools

(you'll have to scroll down to get to the 'Inspect Element' shortcut)
