Hi, how is this a Firefox issue ?

I think it would be best to ask this in the Adobe help/forum.

I would think something has become corrupted in Adobe (full version or Reader) and that if you reinstall it should ask if you if want to repair it or uninstall it.

See if it will update, that also may work.

I would think something in the registry needs repair and can only be done by uninstall or reinstall.

Or possibly by this :

• Repair System Registry and Files

Find the Dos Prompt Right or Powershell Click and Run as Administrator then : Copy/Paste to Dos Window : DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth then hit Enter. Reboot when completed. Note : DISM goes up to Microsoft for new ones.

If Firefox go to Options then you are at General and go down the page to Applications and find PDF in the list and Click on it and you will have Options to change it.

If it is a Windows 10 issue go to Settings --> Apps ---> Default Apps --> Choose Default Apps by File Type and find PDF and choose/change to Adobe.
