I'm trying to create a new Firefox sync account for my girlfriend. Anyway, every time we try to create the account, the Firefox Sync page hangs forever after email and password are filled and The page only displays "Processing" and a blue circle rotates at the bottom of the page.

We tried on 3 different computers (running Windows 10) with the same result. We tried a different email (first was Gmail, second was Yahoo) and waited for about 5-6 minutes per time but no answer was given by the page. We tried to add/no add information about the age but it does not affect the account creation process. Firefox systems are always up and running.

Any suggestions?

hi fra55, unfortunately this is currently a known issue in firefox 50 when you have set the browser to run in permanent private browsing mode ("never remember history" in the options > privacy panel). firefox developers are working to get this fixed in upcoming versions again... Settings for privacy, browsing history and do-not-track
