I recently received a new computer using Windows 8.At first it worked fine but lately I keep getting a Not Responding message often. This happens at various times and on various sites and doesn't seem to have any pattern. What I need to know is , is this your problem, a problem with my server which is A T & T U-verse, a Windows 8 problem or does Microsoft just hate you? I have refreshed Firefox (It didn't help) and re downloaded both my flash player and Shockwave. Any other suggestions? Oh and I believe Firefox is already my default browser.

Is Firefox hanging, or is the connection not responding? Please try these troubleshooting steps and post back with your results:

Check to make sure that your graphics drivers and webgl are up to date. Upgrade your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL

Some added toolbar and anti-virus add-ons are known to cause Firefox issues. Disable All of them.
