Steps to reproduce : - go to YouTube - open a video - press the full screen button or tilt the phone sideways to trigger full screen - Firefox crashes and forces back to home screen - if opening Firefox again only half of the video component shows as in portrait mode, rest is black screen - if attempting to go side/full screen does properly show the video, but going back again to normal screen still shows the half black screen

I can reproduce this with a almost 100% rate, it only fixes itself by restarting Firefox, where it will work until phone is put to sleep mode.

I tried reinstalling Firefox from scratch, as well as deleting my browser cache and it didn't fix.

For the last month I've been having this issue when downloading things from Firefox beta I get this "com.android.phone has stoped working" along with "phone has stopped" error anytime I download something.

Ever tried to download a file through firefox and then pause it to resume it after sometime and end up having the rest of the file being downloaded in an instant but upon opening realise the file has been corrupted. I am facing this issue like so frequently it has become like a norm that pausing a downloading file will give a corrupted one for sure. And please note that other browsers don't reproduce the issue infact the links are pause supported in all aspects

I have the "Autofill in other apps" service set to Firefox but when I attempt to enter a password in any app, I get a message taht says "Unlock Firefox." Tapping on this message does nothing; the message just keeps popping up. No password options appear. If I manually start typing the password, the message goes away, but I am not able to autofill passwords in apps.

If I turn the Autofill in other apps service off, at least I don't get the annoying message, but I'd really like to be able to autofill the passwords. Any suggestions?

I installed ublock origin. But it doesn't work now, where it used to work. If I click to go to its page, no web is loaded. Re-installing doesn't help. the same situation happends to other ad block add-ons.

Since version 115 I am having problem with some of our gmail accounts. It is stuck on loading more emails with the loading circle. Reverted to version 114 and no problem.

For sometime now I have been unable to access my Bell email on Firefox except if I use private browsing and then it allows me to get to my login and by default allows me to enter my login and password. But if I don't use privacy browsing mode, I cannot get to my email. This is on my android Samsung phone btw. Bell tells me it's a browser issue and that I'm to contact Firefox or switch to Chrome or Edge, but I'd rather do it through Firefox. Can anyone assist as to how I can correct this issue?

Since I've installed the latest Samsung OneUI6/Android 14, Firefox keeps crashing randomly. There was a firefox update after (120.1.0, build #2015989146), but same behavior. When opening accessing a new url (either new tab or existing tab). No message displayed, simply closes. Everything is up to date, non rooted galaxy S23 ultra with Android 14/OneUI 6. Already cleared firefox app cache, uninstalled and reinstalled (this worked for a few hours, but it's back to same behavior).

Any ideas?

Since release 114.0 the tabs tray doesn't completely open in horizontal mode on my device(s) (Pixel 2 & Zenfone 9, Android 13). I click the tabs button, then swipe the tray up to open it now. Screenshots show what happens when I click the tabs button. This happens in Firefox and Fennec (F-Droid)

As best I can tell, this started happening after Improve collapse animation of the tabs tray FAB & scrim / 444597e.

I originally was able to create the home page shortcut to Piped with Chrome, but the shortcut launched Chrome, even though Firefox is my default browser?

So I deleted the shortcut. Now, Chrome no longer even offers me the option to "Add to Home Screen" from the Piped page, but it still does for other sites. Within Chrome, It now offers me the option to open the page in Firefox, even if I make Chrome the default browser.

How can I get a shortcut to Piped on my home page that will open in Firefox?

All web pages in Firefox for Android and blank, just a white screen. Send like the same issue others have reported recently, but unlike them v114.1.1 has not fixed it. It may even have been when it started though I'm not sure about that.

When I use Firefox on and android TV box and I want to access to a page it keeps re directing me to google.com It started a few updates ago then it stopped with one version and now it does it again. Version of Firefox is 104.2.0 (build #2015902897) it doesn't have about:config and I can't find any solution on the net. I appreciate the help

Sorry if this has already been addressed, the nature of the issue makes it very hard to search.

Firefox web access on my phone has been not working whatsoever for a few days now. The app opens, but no webpages load, including pages that were previously open in other tabs before the issue started. Instead of anything, there is just an empty grey screen with the bar at the top like usual. This also happens if I open any web URL in another app, like Discord or Gmail, and it tries to use my default browser (which is Firefox) to access it. Just straight greyness, no loading bar or anything. The issue isn't present in the default Samsung web browser, but honestly, I can't stand using anything other than Firefox, so even looking up help has had to wait until I could use my computer.

I've tried restarting my phone to no avail. I would like to try uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox, but as far as I can tell there is no raw "copy a folder" way to back up my data for whatever reason, and when I tried backing up my data by creating a Firefox account for the first time and using sync... well, to do that, it tries to open a series of webpages. Which it can't do. So that was a dead end. And I would really like to avoid losing my tabs, bookmarks, and history if at all possible.

If I don't get an answer that works for me, I think I am going to enable developer access in my phone files and hook it up to my computer to try and force-backup my data, then uninstall and reinstall the app and see if that helps. Honestly, though, I'm really curious why this has happened and how I can prevent it in the future. Having my web browser suddenly just cease to function has been INCREDIBLY annoying.

Hello, I'm writing to describe a recurring problem I'm facing while using Firefox on my Android device, and I need your help to find a solution.

The issue is that my tabs keep getting accidentally deleted when I scroll up and down. The touchscreen on my device is highly sensitive, and simple scrolling often triggers the "left or right swipe" action, causing the current tab to close. All of a sudden I started getting a strange download indication which didn't show up when I looked for it. Since then, when I press "+ New Tabs," a new tab doesn't open. A new tab opens only when I've clicked on a new link for a topic.

I cleared the cache, restarted my phone twice and un-and re-installed Firefox twice. I was originally synced with Firefox on my other phones, but I don't want to sign in again with that email until this problem is fixed. I haven't opened Firefox again on my previous phones since this all started. I'm going to cry if those versions are "infected" with this problem as well. I just can't erase all the data I've previously accumulated within Firefox on those devices, either.

Now I've looked in Firefox Support for this problem and I've looked again and again for a way to restart in Safe Mode, but I can't find it. Could someone please help me diagnose and fix this issue?

Hi! A weird visual glitch has been happening all over on the website I'm building, it only happens on my phone and only with Firefox, everybody else I asked say they don't experience anything like this. On other browsers like chrome it works fine. Other websites seem to work perfectly fine. My phone is a Samsung Note 20 Ultra running Android 13, OneUI 5.1 and Firefox 110.0.1. I use Firefox to save and autofill passwords, which has worked perfect for years. It still works correctly on a Windows PC, but the problem is on my Huawei P30 pro phone. It used to work correctly but I tried using the phones password manager for both websites and Apps, as a safety back up. I got confused because I was getting 2 lots of suggested log ons. Therefore I switched off everything apart from Firefox. Save passwords and autofill are enabled and some websites load correctly. However some websites where the family have a variety of logons I get all the suggested logons. The list of all usernames and passwords appear but when I touch them they don't automatically fill in. If I go into the password manager on Firefox on my phone all the correct details are saved but they just don't transfer to the website. It is strange because some sites do take the password - I'm not sure but I think it's when there are a variety of possible Loggins. I tried clearing all cookies, and logged out of Firefox and back in but still have the issue. Firefox sync is still working OK.
