I have followed all the trouble shooting tips and nothing works. I keep getting the "Untrusted Connection" message. It even came up when I tried to ask a question which is why I'm using Chrome to write this plea. I really like Firefox but now whenever I try to go to ANY website--the untrusted message comes up so i can't go ANYWHERE. I know that you have technicians that help people by connecting to them remotely. I'm not computer illiterate--i taught computers in middle school--this is beyond my knowledge. Can I please have someone call me or can you give me a number to call and talk to a live person. My phone is xxx and my email is xxxx This problem is really ticking me off. I really don't want to use chrome.

unfortunately the fiddler2 issuer in certificates might be a sign of unwanted software present on your pc that is intercepting secure network traffic. please go into the system control panel and uninstall programs like BrowserSafeguard, BrowserSafe, SafeGuard or other software that sounds suspicious and didn't get installed by you intentionally.

afterwards, run a full scan of your system with different security tools like the free version of malwarebytes & adwcleaner.

I just had to copy and paste the link in the email you sent to verify my email into Chrome because when I clicked on it in Outlook I got the dreaded Unsupported message.

hello tchoor, a possible solution depends on different factors:

  • what is the error code shown under technical details on the error page?

in case the error code equals sec_error_unknown_issuer, please attempt to add an exception on the bottom of the error page & inspect the certificate (see the screenshot attached for instructions):

  • which issuer information does the certificate contain?

thank you!

"This Connection is Untrusted" error message appears - What to do

Error code is: sec_error_unknown_issuer

Issuer information is: Common Name DO_NOT_TRUST_FiddlerRoot Organization DO_NOT_TRUST Organization Unit Created by http://fiddler2.com
