I have downloaded and installed Splunk. It is a web service. On the screenshot you will see a side-by-side comparison of the same link in two browsers. I cannot tell what is causing this. I have tried adding http:// to the start.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

You can also try to reset the preferences on the Safe mode start window.

No luck.

In safe mode. Appearances disabled.

Going for a complete reinstall.

EDIT > This did not work. Chrome, IE, Opera all work. Splunk works best on Firefox though so it'd be great to have this resolved! Maybe it doesn't like the URL?
