OK, so what is your question? It will not start, is it installed? What operating system are you using? what version did you install? how did you install it (easy or custom)?

sorry, i was hoping my long Q from before was still retrievable. Using Vista and Mozilla Version: 3.6.15, I had a virus yesterday. I used system restore which seemed to cure it but then Firefox no longer responds. It is not running in bkgnd, I uncked the read only inthe user profile, as suggested. Typically no error message except when I tried to access profile mgr, then I got:BuildID: 20110303024726 CrashTime: 1301283615 InstallTime: 1300418756 ProductName: Firefox SecondsSinceLastCrash: 1443 StartupTime: 1301283615 Throttleable: 1 URL: Vendor: Mozilla Version: 3.6.15 I can get on the web with Explorer so its not a connection problem

...maybe relevant that I had downloaded version 4 and then my machine was hijacked by the fake spyware virus. I restored to the earleir time and version of firefox
