Your "system battery" shouldn't have any affect on file storage space.

Try a Windows support forum for help with that problem.

Are you referring to the C (system) drive that runs low on disk space?

In that case you need to go trough all folders and see what you can miss.

You can also run the Disk Cleanup Manager.
Start > Run: cleanmgr.exe
