Firefox keeps asking me if I want to start it with windows. Again. And Again. AAAAAAND AGAIN.

How can I disable it? Seriously, Mozilla is really doing their best to scare me away... How could they think it's a good Idea to annoy their users over and over again?

Use one of these to close Firefox if you are currently doing that by clicking the close X on the Firefox Title bar or letting the OS close Firefox, especially if you have multiple windows or Private Browsing windows open to prevent losing tabs in unnoticed windows.

  • "3-bar" menu button -> Exit (Power button)
  • Windows: File -> Exit
  • Mac: Firefox -> Quit Firefox
  • Linux: File -> Quit

Make sure browser.startup.windowsLaunchOnLogin.disableLaunchOnLoginPrompt is set to true in about:config and is sticking across restarts.

Visit about:studies in the address bar and remove any related studies.
