I suddenly encountered this issue. I have no extensions interfering. I'm running AVG and have turned off web shield entirely whilst troubleshooting. Firefox is up to date. GOOGLE CHROME has NO problem with the certificate. I am adding a SS of the error so that I'm not typing the Gutenberg Bible to get help. If I am unable to follow a link from one website to another there is no logical reason for me to continue using Firefox when Google Chrome will do the job no problem. Also to note; I have been a faithful Firefox user on ALL of my platforms and only specifically downloaded Chrome just to see if it worked in Chrome (which it did.)

That exact URL returns "404 Not Found" on both Firefox and Chrome, the main site works on both.

That doesn't solve my issue. That has no bearing on the fact that I can follow the very same link (which gives this error in Firefox, and gives NO option to follow link) in Chrome and arrive at my new messages on that site, but cannot from Firefox. I've read the previous issues that are identical to mine and no one ever actually solves it. The complainant usually gives up and marks "solved."
