Unless you set AutoFill/AutoSave to save logins - every Browser when closed will logout of any login accounts. This is for safety and liability for Browser from hackers. And not mention what other options doesn't tell others reading what to try or see what is going with those options.

Close what? A G account or the browser?

You need to set cookies which persist and make sure they are not deleted when you exit the browser.
